Finally bought a switch and, although it's a nifty little system, I don;t have anything to pay as I'm NEVER, EVER, buying the games at the current price. No way. Should have paid attention before buying as I'll not have to wait for the 'second hand' prices to fall.

Dark Souls
Smash Bros port to switch with new characters
Okami HD
Captain Toad
South Park Fractured But Whole

So hyped.

Think Mario Tennis Aces (June 22) and Project Octopath Traveler (July 13) will be on my buy list too.

Sold it. The price of new games just seemed too high and I didn't want to buy games on the store as I'd then be tied to another system. Nice system though.

You will likely be better served waiting for a refresh (we all know they will have one) that will, at the very least, have better battery life, and may have a better screen or even faster hardware.

As for the Nintendo Direct, way too many ports of games from years past, and without showing any gameplay from Smash Brothers or the core gameplay of No More Heroes, there was nothing that really excited me. Which is fine, because I already have the hardware, and at this point is it just a matter of waiting patiently for software releases, like Octopath Traveler, to be released.

If you're waiting for a drop in price on Nintendo software, you'll be waiting a long, long while. They are pretty good at maintaining high software prices. It's part of what made me just give up on them. I felt the same way about Xbox digital prices as well on Live.
