Fix-It Felix Jr. Released for the Commodore 64

Fix-It Felix Jr. was one of the most popular 2D platform games ever made. Launching in 1982, it became a pop culture sensation thanks to its colorful 8-bit graphics, simple controls, and addictive gameplay. 38 years later, it's time to re-live those arcade days on your beloved Commodore 64.

Fix-It Felix Jr. is a Charity project. The game is free to download, but every donation will go to UNICEF.

Nice. I have fond memories of "Trick or treat for UNICEF" when I was a kid seeking out my sugar fix on Halloween. Every year we got that little box to carry around with us.

So, I downloaded it, and it has some of the nicest voice samples I've heard in a C-64 game. The graphics are very nice too. The music isn't awful, but more than one tune would have been nice. Over all it is very repetitive and fun for short bursts, and would be much more fun if competing with a friend for high score.

I already have the console.

That’s bad ass, I didn’t know there was one. I’ll have to pick it up. I played the full-sized coin-op version at Disneyland. It’s pretty fun, but I wasn’t very good at it.
