Wow. We used to struggle to run Flight Sims with textures of the ground and the occasional skyscraper. These were THE most demanding games. Impressive to see what can be rendered, in its entirety, these days.

It's gonna run like sh--

Looks very photo-realistic, lets hope it actually looks that good with a decent flight model under it this time.

Amen, I was JUST thinking how this series needed a new update.

I'll be spool happy to be able to run this in six years.

Ha.

This series is what actually got my interest in flight started. If not for this series, I would not have had an Air Force career most likely.

Man, I hope flight simulators will make a return at some point. I mean, seriously: What's keeping Google from using their immense amount of geographical data (which is almost certainly better than what Microsoft has at their disposal) and create a technological showcase via Stadia? With direct access to their servers, this could (possibly) be used in massively-multiplayer flight sims...

Unfortunately, I'm not at all interested in the simulation of civilian planes, and it all goes out the window as soon as you add dogfights and ground targets to the mix. I mean, who would want their house (or national landmark) bombed in an online game? Probably no-one...
