I saw it yesterday with my son. I liked it a hell of a lot more than I liked Logan.

We saw Logan over the weekend and were pretty happy with it. It is a bit of a "finale" for the X-Men films (even though you know they will make more and they shouldn't, they should go for a total reboot).

I think we are going to see Kong on Saturday with my Dad and my Sister. Should be a good time!

Want to see Kong, didn't see Logan (yet?), but Kong is so gigantic that it's ridiculous :P Still, apart from that, want to see where the go with it.

Seems like all the Kong movies have been pretty much quite similar so far tho.

Shush. He's a giant monster. Besides, he's still growing; he's got a ways to go before he can stand next to Godzilla for Godzilla vs Kong.

Yeah...this one isn't. Sure, it's got Kong, but it's not the ridiculous homage Peter Jackson's version was. It very much stands alone as it's own version of the character. This has much more in common with the Toho version of Kong and their kaiju movies than any of the other Kong films. They even have him fight a giant octopus (seen briefly in the trailers), a kickass reference to King Kong vs Godzilla.

Oh, and you'll want to stick around for the post-credits scene. It's worth it if you're at all interested in Legendary's shared "Monsterverse".

Is that a confirmed future thing?

Good to hear.

Saw Kong this weekend and Logan last.

Kong was what I hoped it would be; fun to watch. There are of course a few nitpicks if I wanted to go there but I don't. I'll buy it when it comes out to add to the collection.

Logan for me is one of the best movies I've seen since maybe Bone Tomahawk. Really liked it, can't wait to buy that one.

It's been confirmed for nearly two years, but the writing process has begun recently.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters is due in 2019, with Godzilla vs Kong due in 2020.

Thanks, I remember hearing about it but not how certain it was.
