BBC's Watership Down Trailer

Quote:

BBC Oneís star-studded new adaptation of Watership Down uses Richard Adamsí bestselling novel as its source to bring an innovative interpretation to the much loved classic.

Adapted for the screen by Tom Bidwell and directed by Noam Murro, this tale of adventure, courage and survival follows a band of rabbits as they flee the certain destruction of their home.

Credit for trying but I really don't think this has much of a chance of capturing anything that wasn't better expressed in the original. Granted, some of that animation was pretty rough but actors like John Hurt and Zero Mostel really brought that film to life.

What is sad is that the liberal media is trying to turn this classic story into a Trump vs the Illegal immigrants story. I’m totally not kidding.

I am really starting to hate the BBC and it's left wing media propaganda mission. In the past it created some of the best TV shows on the planet that we were able to sell worldwide, now it produces a bevvy of drivel. I am even forced to pay for this shit that I hardly ever use, bloody lefty luvvies have ruined this country.

A cunty perspective on a classic book. Long live the patriarchy!

I was sufficiently traumatized when I watched the old version when I was 8 — no need to throw ham-fisted political messages on top of the story.

Really feels like an immigrant story against the tyrant, Donald Trump. What an interesting take. What does the acronym BBC stand for, anyway?

:D

Cool I guess, but why does it look like it was created in Unreal Engine 4 and rendered on a high end desktop PC?

OMG, this looks terrible.

I believe because it probably was.

What's with the BBC One logo plastered front and center on the video?
