I saw it with the family last Tuesday and we all enjoyed it though the kids were a little confused at times. It's the first movie in a quite a while that makes me want to go back for another viewing.

60 mil on what, it's third or fourth weekend? It's just stomping around slapping midgets at this point.

Meanwhile Isle of Dogs is getting the Blade Runner treatment.

I don't even think I've seen a trailer for Isle of Dogs. I like all that Wes Anderson stuff, I will probably like it. I just don't think it got much promotion.

Ok, I just watched the trailer. I take it back.

I like how critics keep saying infinity war is impenetrable while everyone and their mother is going to go see it and having little problem enjoying it.

Personally i loved the heck out of it. It's one of the first movies in forever that didn't bore me structurally. You literally never know what's going to happen next.

Watched Isle of Dogs this weekend. The theater I went to, Cinearts, was packed on a Saturday night showing.

It is not his strongest work, but even a weak Wes Anderson is substantially better than most films that get released.

I loved Infinity Wars a bundle and am glad it is making some real money. With the kind of budget it had (around 316 million USD), it making that much back in just the US market alone (not counting taxes, marketing and other expenses) is good and impressive. I know a lot of folks are going to be buying a copy of this once it is released on other media, too. At this rate they'll have paid for the next movie five times over when it stops showing up in theaters.

I can't tell if this is an endorsement or not. The last Blade Runner was really bad and Isle of Dogs looks, at least from the trailer, to be entertaining.

Isle of Dogs suffered from a lack of distribution. I wanted to see it and would have, w/Movie Pass, but it wasn't anywhere near me and wasn't enough of a draw for me to spend as long as the film to drive to it.

Will be seeing Breaking In next. Looks entertaining.

Avengers is one of the few films i've been tempted to see twice at the cinema. Loved itg

Hope Deadpool 2 can snag some of that money next. Just saw it in a packed theater and everyone loved it.

It's doing great, but will it even get past Black Panther? I guess I expected it to be the top Marvel movie easily, and even threaten Force Awakens. Now I'm not sure of the former and it has no chance at the latter.
I know it's silly to consider it anything like a disappointment. Great movie and great revenues. I guess, with the hype, I expected it to smash all records. That's all.

It passed Black Panther a week ago. Black Panther topped out at 1.3 Billion worldwide, Infinity War is at 1.6 Billion now. Force Awakens got 2.0, so Infinity War has a good chance to tie it up.
