This is achieved by using the LevelHike HDMI cable for PSP and the new mClassic video processor chained together.

neat stuff

Pretty neat! Do you know if the Vita has something similar?
im always impressed with 3rd party alternatives! although remote play may kill that market?

Nice, added to my wishlist!

The Vita has the PS TV unit. Still have one lying around, never used, just like my Steam Stream box or whatever the hell that was called.
Just like my Kinect 2 adapter for non-lame Xbox One versions. And my Chromecast. SO.... MUCH.... UNUSED.... HARDWARE!

The problem with the PSTV is that it doesn't support all Vita games, some require the use of the back touchpad and the camera. Has anyone tried LevelHikes PS1/PS2 HDMI cable converter? Though at $30..I may just buy one to try.

Yeah there's a way to output Vita to a TV or PC but its not easy. You have to exploit your vita, get familiar with plugins. Know that this plugin has issues. It cant do full 60fps at the native Vita resolution. It averages like 44fps at that. Fortunately most games either do 30 fps or run at a lower res, but it's kind of on you to figure out what they are and match the settings, for the optimal experience. Also the sound quality if awful if you attempt to charge the Vita during the video transmission via USB, UNLESS, you happen to own one of these little 3.5mm line filter boxes. Removes all the buzzing you'd otherwise hear. If you're outputting to a PC, you just use a video player app like PotPlayer to select the incoming source for video. It thinks it's a webcam. If you want this to output to a TV, you will need a Raspberry Pi with a custom flashed image to run a video receiver app and then outputs it via HDMI to your TV.

Here's mine running to my PC:

I do have a 3.6 Vita + Henkaku ;) I never had a specific reason for PI device until now - but fortunately outputting to pc sounds like a better option!
Only earlier this month did i realize there was a payload to enable remote play on a Jailbroken ps4. Thank you for showing me your vita set up!! The red vita is sexy.

It's actually the orange vita. For some reason when I take pictures of it, it looks way closer to red though. I love it. Bought it brand new from amazon a couple months before they stopped producing japan models. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPbbcTt-RqQ
