Looks good. Which is somewhat surprising because I have little faith in EA.

BeardedSonOfNel 06-08-2019 04:19 PM

It looks good, but I'll wait for reviews before I even remotely think about buying it.

Mad Max RW 06-08-2019 05:23 PM

With EA's taint why would anyone in their right mind care about this?

wunshot 06-08-2019 10:35 PM

The uniforms have next to no detail and the Chewy's hair looks like shit. It's too bad they couldn't have used the Division 2 engine for this.

wunshot 06-08-2019 10:37 PM

Aside from that though, it does actually look pretty fun.

People who played it today said that it was super linear and dull. That video doesn't make it look any different at all from the Force Unleashed games.

I don’t know what I expected but I was bored by the end and that was only after 13 minutes. I wasn’t sure about Forest Whittaker’s VO and as someone mentioned the textures looked terrible. The addition of wall running is cool but the set pieces left a lot to be desired.

Everything was so static but the combination force powers looked great. I didn’t understand the particle effect on the super trooper who looked like he had been severed in half but kept on coming.

I feel terrible actually I am such a low level of excitement about the title. I am so cynical about where Star Wars and EA is these day.

They got the wrong Lucasfilm property. Would have been better as an Indiana Jones game.

Rommel 06-09-2019 08:34 AM

Wow, does that look dull. More hallways than Crash Bandicoot.

You are so right. There hasnít been a good Indiana Jones game since The Fate of Atlantis and the movies are a lost cause.

I preordered it.... Star Wars tomb raider/AC type game, yes please.

Why is there a large fan blade just rotating in the middle of a hallway?

Scherge 06-10-2019 05:57 AM

I could only watch 8 minutes of that because the player seemed so darn incompetent. Also, everything reminded me of the very first "Uncharted" game, with even less freedom of movement and variety in level design, and we've come a loooong way since then. I guess this is just not for me, as I'm not a die-hard "Star Wars" fan...

Looks kind of cool to me and the protagonist doesn't seem to be as annoying as I feared at first. I'm cautiously optimistic about this one now.

Because it's Star Wars. Half of the architecture is there just to kill people.
