Went to see Scary Stories with a friend; we both read the books when we were in Elementary school, figured we'd give it a shot. Meh. It was ok. Worth streaming it on a bored, lazy night at home.

Some of the monsters translated pretty well to the screen, in that they were as creepy as I remember the drawings.

Movies really suck and have for a while now. There are occasional gems, but much of it is just utter garbage.

Didn't see anything this weekend. Thought I might catch Scary Stories but didn't realize it was only rated PG-13 and geared fully towards kids. Heard it compared to the recent Goosebumps films, so meh.

Ad Astra looks interesting, then Joker. I know I'm forgetting a couple before those two. Oh, Rambo maybe. We'll see.

I saw Once Upon a Time In Hollywood last night with some friends. It was the first Quentin Tarantino movie that I really enjoyed. Yes it was a very slow burn but I liked the characters, cinematography, etc. And the ending was pretty entertaining.
