I played the Resident Evil remake on the Gamecube and it was great, but nothing I would pay full price for at this point. I'm sure the remake will be good, but $60 is a bit on the heavy side.

I'll pick this one up for sure out of the bargain bin or eBay it when I can get it for $20.

HaHa. I watched that trailer with no sound while listening to Don Abandons Alice from the 28 Weeks Later soundtrack. It matches up perfectly! Try it.

Honestly I'd pay the $60 but thanks to it using Denuvo Anti-tamper on the PC version I'll wait for it to be patched out eventually, which yeah means it'll be in the bargain bin by the time I get it. Oh well

Do they still have that on Steam? I thought developers were just using Steam as their security for PC releases?

my favourite RE of the series with the controls that I like so this is a no brainer.

Purchased. Demo was great. One of my favorite games, and definitely my favorite Resident Evil. I can't for the weekend to plow through this a few times.

Did you also watched the Wizard of Oz and Pink Floyds album "Dark Side Of the Moon" at the same time?

Yeah it's still around, it eventually gets patched out like with Street Fighter V, but currently both the demo and full game have the

"Incorporates 3rd-party DRM: Denuvo Anti-tamper
5 different PC within a day machine activation limit"

Warning on the Steam purchase page.

Yes, they do not sync up. I have a copy of Oz with that available as a soundtrack option.

Bought it for the PS4 and have been playing Leons campaign for a couple of hours (I don't have that much gaming time). Easily the best Resident Evil game and one of the most fun games I've played in a long while! A bit more linear so far than the original, but that is my only criticism. All other aspects have been massively improved. The graphics are amazing and the gore is over the top.
