Ha, I was always more interested in crashing than in racing in car games. I remember playing the old IndyCar game on the PC and driving backwards to cause massive impacts and pile-ups. Here is some vid of that old 1993 version of the game, but in the no-fun normal mode: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kAxOkCrTEdg

They just took that one mode from Burnout and turned it into a stand alone game?

Great?

I think I would just fire up Burnout Paradise instead.

If they don't license the Kenny Loggins song... it's a total fail :)

I always wanted a new "Burnout 3: Takedown" (still better than "Revenge", and the crash mode in "Paradise" kinda sucked), but this UE footage looks wayyy too ugly for my tastes. Sooo, thank you for playing, but...

The crazy thing is, this is exactly the Burnout series before Paradise. Like literally this is it.

Mind you, where is my next Burnout game dammit... (this is it maybe?)

In somewhat related news The Crew 2 was sort of announced via forum post and uninspiring pic:

I found the original game very addictive and never had any of the technical issues reported by so many others immediately following and long after the initial launch. The default control scheme sucked and you had to do a lot of tinkering before it felt right. But overall very solid from my point of view, logged hundreds of hours, and look forward to seeing where they take it. I also have several hundred hours in Elite Dangerous, so you kind of have to be in a similar frame of mind to enjoy The Crew.
