Isn't this the crowd funded game "doing their own thing so they aren't beholden to big companies" blah blah blah (standard crowd-funding regurgitated hate for big game companies) which stabbed all the funders in the back by then taking a bribe from Epic or selling out to some publisher who then put the game on an Epic Store exclusive?

Pretty sure that's this game, and one of the reasons I will never buy it despite being a relative fan of the Epic Store.

For some reason I thought it launched already.

Outer Wilds was released over the summer on the Epic Game Store on PC. This is just the console release.

Well, if you have to figure out a way to spin "non-procedural fixed map" that's a pretty good way to do it.

I keep getting confused with the "Outer" games. This game I played on Xbox a few months ago, and it was a lot of fun. It's pretty trippy.

Outer Worlds is the other one that comes out this month.

So after watching the YT video it looks like the game I wanted from NMS.

It actually looks wonderful.

Has anyone played this? Is it FUN?

This one is on Xbox Games Pass in a few days, so I’m going to check it out. I’m still coasting on a two months free.

Check this out - I got this game, a year or two ago, way before it was ever released, because Xbox gave it away if you watched E3 or that other show they do...the one in like december...whatever if you watched it on Mixer they gave it away.

So I had it "preordered" for like a year, forgot all about it, then it released on Xbox earlier this year it was already on my console. Pretty cool yet weird way to get a game!

Anyways yes, it is really fun, and like i said, trippy. If i had this game when i was about 18, would've experienced it in "other" ways.
