Haha, sweet.

This, on a 4K screen, will look gloriously blocky and fab!

NESter the Unlikely 10-24-2019 02:35 AM

They better not 'remaster' those magnificent live action cutscenes.

Juan 10-24-2019 05:54 AM

oh god yes

BalekFekete 10-24-2019 06:51 AM

So many hours lost to this title and others like it, be it Starcraft, Total Annihilation, Dune 2, etc...

I can see EA replacing the cutscenes with shitty CGI versions or worse, leaving them out altogether.

Or asking for Play 2 view credits to see the cut scenes.

The problem with all of these remasters is that they haven't figured out a way to remaster me back to being a 17 year old kid who can stay up all night playing these games, eat a bag of cheetohs without gaining and ounce, and don't have to pay the mortgage next week.

Mad Max RW 10-24-2019 11:02 AM

But will it have the secret dinosaur missions remastered, too?

More than likely it'll be static screens with text of mission objectives and nothing else.

I remember they did release them free for a bit on their site. I'm sure there are mirrors floating around atm with them. (Original CnC/RA)

EA also has a package of practically all the C&C/RA/Generals games in one collection on Origin. was worth picking up just to have all those titles.
