The original State of Decay and the remastered Year One: Survival Edition found a home and an enthusiastic community on Steam, and we are excited for State of Decay 2 to join them. State of Decay 2 on Steam will feature Xbox Live cross-play, enabling you to play with up to three friends across your platforms of choice (Steam, Windows 10 and Xbox One). After all, no one survives alone!

I played this a little at launch, but the PC version was so buggy it was unplayable. I'm sure by now it's pretty much fixed.

I had fun with this game for a week or two, but it didn't hold my attention past that. It is cool, but seems more focused on co-op, which I'm not into.

Did SOD2 fix the issue where friendly NPCs with a grenade launcher would destroy your bases and cars?

I wanted to like the first one, and I did at first, but then it side missions kept coming at a non stop pace and, if you didn't do them, you lost people in camp and/or lost morale. It was just too much work.
