Dark Souls Dev FromSoftware Has Two Secret Games in the Works

No matter what Dark Souls and Bloodborne developer FromSoftware has up its sleeve, you know it's at least going to be interesting. Company president Hidetaka Miyazaki recently spoke with 4Gamer about what they're working on, which adds up to "3.5" products, two of which have yet to be announced.

The product considered to be a half a point is the short VR game Deracine, while Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice counts as a full project. Since Dark Souls Remastered and Metal Wolf Chaos XD aren't counted among Miyazaki's listed projects, that leaves two that haven't been revealed.

As for what they are, well, we'll still have to wait around for details. Miyazaki only offered a tiny hint, saying, "They're both [FromSoftware]-esque games We'll need a little more time, but we'll be able to tell everyone more about them once they take shape."

What are you hoping for? A Bloodborne sequel? Something totally new? Time will tell, but it's always fun to speculate!

I am really hoping for a Bloodborne prequel or sequel. Anything or both!

Something new hopefully. Or something soulsy but a bit different. Like a more Asian or norse setting.

Maybe a more open world. Red dead with swords and magic with dark souls like combat.

Bloodborne. BLOODBORNE.

the only game where one can feel good about having parasites

I hope it's the dark souls of racing sims!

They need to just keep doing what they're doing. They have created an entire genre of challenging action RPG's. Set them wherever you like, just keep them coming.

I really dont understand the reasoning behind not doing a sequel for Bloodborne. The game is loved by so many...it just doesn't make sense.

The reason these games are "challenging" is From Software is incapable of making a game without clunky ass controls.
