Xbox "Going Big" At E3 2019 After Sony Drops Out
 

With Sony dropping out of E3 this year, Microsoft is seeing an opening and planning to go big with their Xbox presentation. Gamespot has the news.

It is a good opportunity to them. If Sony doesn't play this right, it could really hurt them. Maybe Sony will have a big conference the weekend before or weekend after that they host themselves? Maybe Sony just wants Microsoft to play their cards so that they can try and show them up a week or month later?

E3 is a cring fest every dam year. From giant enemy crabs, to riiidge race, to wii drummer guy, to walls of doritos and mountain dew bottles.

Nintendo is doing it right.

No new games but there will be booth babes with t-shirt cannons.

But when the (haha lolol heheh) CONSOLE that they (haha lolol heheh) LOVE participates in these same events, they say nothing negative.

I'm 38. I have a job. I like games. I have a PC, Xbox One X, PS4 Pro, Switch, Vita, and countless other platforms. As an unbiased gamer, when I see that Sony is not going to E3 and Microsoft is, it is painfully obvious that this E3 will favor Xbox. But I am sure Sony has something up their sleeve, don't cry if you're a tunnel vision Sony fan. Nintendo has plans too.


Basically this news doesn't lead my mind to the path of talking shit about any of the companies in gaming. They all have their own plans. Lets watch them roll out. Why on earth would this news make me feel like shitting on Xbox? HAHA I wish you could see the literal laughter on my face when I try to imagine that.

Sorry, usually I try to leave you dudes alone about this stuff. I know fanbois can't help themselves. I know this. But sometimes I see things that are so unbelievably dumb. Like you need to be put under "Citizens Arrest." It's like when I see something so incredibly dumb, I am contractually required as a human being to say NOPE.

If you're 13 or so then whatever, you get a pass. But if you're an adult....LOL

Despite the fact that they don’t have Sony to compete with this year at E3, I still have no faith in Microsoft to improve the Xbox brand. They bought up a bunch of C-List and D-List companies that were pretty much making Xbox-only games we didn’t care about. And?

They still lack in the AAA games space. The only AAA games on the Xbox are those that are multi platform. Sony still has that locked up for now because they own several AAA developers that make PlayStation-only games.

Sony is skipping E3 this year mostly because all they would have to show off is stuff they have previously shown off and because internally they are moving their production and marketing efforts toward the PlayStation 5. Good, they need to catch up. The PS4 doesn’t play 4K movies and barely plays 4K games.

Microsoft will put on a nice show, but you watch, it will be about 80% multiplatform stuff that you can play on the PlayStation and 20% indie and D-List crap that none of us here really care about.

They forget why they were the biggest platform in the world... Games, Games, Games (and not TV, TV, TV as someone pointed out above) and I don’t know if they can turn that back around.

I would love to see them do it, the 360 era was amazing for gamers because there was just a massive amount of games and because Sony was busting their ass to play catch-up the entire generation. That meant tons of stuff for us to play.

I just don’t see Microsoft putting the kind of effort into catching up to Sony as Sony did into catching up to the Xbox. It’s like Microsoft and PC gaming. Every year they say they are going to focus on PC gaming again and what have they done so far??? Just PC ports of their Xbox games. That’s kinda nice I guess, but it doesn’t really show effort in that area.

With as powerful as PC’s are now, they should have some studio somewhere working on something you can ONLY play on PC’s. And they don’t. And they won’t.
