I see the first two games are on sale in the PlayStation store for just a few bucks. How are they?

If you ever were a fan of the soul reaver/legacy of kain series it's better than that with much better combat. Also the artwork is awesome.

However, this game has yet to show what's new about the game play other than omg you canz cartwheel lefts and rights and whip things.

Well neato. They may actually give their 4 horsemen each a game after all.

Well, three of the four games you compared the Darksiders series against are pretty dramatically different.

The first is essentially a Legend of Zelda game with a God of War-esque combat system. The second is more of an open world-ish action RPG with plenty of loot. They're both fun games, but the last thing I'd ever compare either of them to is a Bayonetta game. Even God of War(1-3) isn't similar enough to merit much of a comparison.

Although they're all combat-oriented games and this is JUST YOUR OPINION, they aren't all the same game.

Darksiders 1 & 2 have way more in common with Zelda than God of War. God of War, up until the latest, had more in common with Bayonetta.

Either way, Darksiders 1 & 2 are great, if you're looking for something Zelda-like, with a more mature vibe and better combat. Some of the puzzle/dungeons can get tedious, because it all just keeps going and going and going and going (old school style).

They don't really make games like what Darksiders is, any more, so even though all the footage of #3 looks "meh" compared to the other 2, I'll still get it.

You must mean 4 HORSEPERSONS.

These collectors editions are getting wildly out of control.

That aside, I think I'll wait for this to drop in price, even though I enjoyed the first two.

I'll wait for the price drop as well, but then again I did for the other two parts in the series. Especially since I'll have this and the new WoW expansion to keep me busy for the remainder of the year.

That’s what I was thinking. Battle Chasers was a great game though. Joe Mad is good with the art.

I don't think he has anything to do with "Darksiders III", though. Well, maybe some of his early concepts survived the THQ buyout...?

This is one of the weirder things I've read on the internet.

Bayonetta was fun, but I sucked at it and couldn’t finish it. :(

Not sure Darksiders is too similar, but I didn’t finish it either. :(

Yes. I've always appreciated his art-style.

Tell me about it. I had to play it on the easiest setting because I had no idea what I was doing.
