It was really bland compared to other science fiction at the time. Plus the "know-it-all-kids" repeated that stupid folding analogy too many times.

And why couldn't Encyclopedia Brown get attacked by a facehugger? That would be some quality science fiction.

And have the Hardy boys seduced and corrupted by crack whores.
