Activision Names Call Of Duty Head Robert Kostich As New President

Quote:
After a number of high profile departures from Activision Blizzard's corporate, such as a CFO that left for Netflix and Sledgehammer's founder leaving soon after being promoted, the company is quick to fill open chairs and name key promotions within the company. Most notably, Robert Kostich, who is amazingly not Bobby Kotick under an assumed name, has been promoted to the position of Activision president.

Kostich has been head of the Call of Duty franchise over the last ten years, shepherding it during its lower points and its recent higher ones. He also oversaw the Call of Duty esports initiatives during his tenure. He'll be assuming a similar role as head of Activision, except for all games in the company's portfolio.

Humam Sakhnini was named president of King Entertainment, Activision's $6 billion dollar acquisition, while Dennis Durkin was also named president of Activision Blizzard’s emerging businesses as well as serving as CFO. Bobby Kotick remains CEO, while J. Allen Brack stays president of Blizzard.

Heroes of the Storm is closing and Destiny is probably moving to the Epic Platform.

Blizzard is still doing great, but the Activision I worked for is gone. All they have left is Call of Duty.

They'll be doing even better when they get that chinamarket. I wonder if the trend will be making shit for the larger markets from now on for north america.
