For games? Nothing. They already disabled gestures when games run.

Disabling it in the dashboard just means it won't pick up normal hand gestures like reaching for a cup on the coffee table. It's a minor thing, but a step farther in admitting the kinect was DOA.

Everyone bitches about the focus they put on TV, and rightfully so. But honestly, I consume a lot of TV and movies. I go weeks without gaming and the XB1 is the center of all of that.
I realized the other day that nearly every bit of entertainment I consume is via the Xbox One. I've never had a prob with the TV stuff, so I get my TV, Movies, and most games all through it. The thing is on in my house nonstop.

As far as the gestures go, thank God they removed them, they sucked ass. Sometimes my dog would walk by and the thing would track him as a hand. Granted, he's a small dog, but not that small and not hand-shaped.

Looking forward to the backwards compatibility tomorrow also.
I used to indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.

Exactly. Pretty much if I am consuming media I am on my XB1, and it has streamlined it in so many ways its crazy. I am going to be pretty sad if the lukewarm reception causes MS to give up on this unified media philosophy. It's the logical progression for consoles and its a major step backwards if they scrap these features for the next iteration of XBOX.
