Criticisms of the game are directed towards a variety of aspects, but focus on the short length of the single player campaign. IGN's Mark Bozon remarks that the single-player of "Modern Warfare 2 is surprisingly short, and doesn't live up to the standard set by previous Call of Duty games."

Ah yes, that one had a shortish one...Around 5 hours or so...It also had the excellent PVE coop spec ops mode...So you did have a faint clue, you got a number in the name right and just engaged in extreme hyperbole.

I played the SP to completion and was underwhelmed. It's not like the series has done much better than that since. Neither does this game, which has a 2 hour SP campaign.

I bought all 3 shooters on release.

I was really enjoying BF1, it's fun and beautiful. Only negative is I don't like a lot of the MP maps. Still plan to go back to it.

I played and beat the Titanfall 2 campaign, it was awesome. I was excited to get into the MP...but I've realized that I don't really like it. Everything is a bit too loose. Calling down a Titan is awesome, but then you don't live much longer in a titan than you would on foot. I've only played attrition mode, because that should be the best mode, and the other modes don't sound fun. I keep giving it chances; even bought a mountain dew for the extra XP boost, but it's just not clicking for me.

And then cam CoD. I was telling everyone that of the 3 games, I think CoD will be the worst. It just looked sort of bad, and I didn't like IW's last game, Ghosts.

But I can't stop playing it. The MP is super fun, the SP is unusually great, and I have MW to go to whenever I get a bit fatigued with Infinite Warfare. I'm very surprised to be saying this, believe me, but I like CoD better than both of EA's games.

Have you played Titanfall 2? Have you played the campaign?

They were hoping to take the market away from CoD. Battlefield 1 would take the traditionalists who want old school FPS action, and then release Titanfall 2 before the futuristic CoD to take the FPS gamer who wants that FPS game with futuristic themes like the last 3 CoD's.

Titanfall 2 is really good, and will definitely steal some of the market. Probably enough to make this the least selling CoD for a decade. But CoD is actually good for once, so it'll be a tug of war that might not culminate until next year, if not the year after.
