I've really been enjoying the patch, and I'm looking forward to more with this coming out!

Considering this will be the first $40 I'm spending on this game (been playing WoW right along so I got the initial game for free), I'm not unhappy with shelling out the cash. Can't wait to start caving in skulls with the crusader.

The new loot/difficulty/level systems introduced are really enjoyable in the vanilla version also... is a totally different play-through now

After the monster patch (8Gb) for the loot 2.0 system, within 1/2 hour I got a Legendary drop! I've put over 200+ in this game and have had very few legendaries. This new patch has me excited to play the expansion. And the difficulty levels make this a lot more fun to play!

I do enjoy the ability to really customize the experience beyond picking the "standard" difficulty levels of Normal, Nightmare, Hell and Inferno. The added gold and magic find added with the new difficulty levels is nice, too.

agreed, the new loot system is better, especially with all legendary items now spawning with stats appropriate to your character level. This gives endless variety now.

Unfortunately the game is still boring...level design/randomness, monster densities are weak, and a soundtrack that still puts you to sleep. RoS will add new variety but Acts 1-4 will still remain as always. Hopefully adventure mode will put new life into these acts but the issues i mentioned above will still exist.

I've gotten into some pretty crazy patches of monsters on Torment difficulty. Pacing seems better as well with the random objective sidequests. Going through acts 1 and 2 since the patch I've found 5 legendaries, annoyingly 3 of them where the same. Fucking RNG.

I agree with this. I've been playing recently to be prepared for RoS and it is BORING! If I didn't have OCD and want the paragon levels I don't think I'd last till RoS.

As it is even I, an obsessive grinder, am going to be burned out going through the various Torment modes over and over.
