I went with my family and we enjoyed it a lot. Theater wasn't close to sold out (though pretty full), but they were having showings every hour so I think they just diluted the crowds a bit more than they needed to.

Looking forward to Jurassic SameSameAllOverAgain this weekend.

I think I'm going to skip that one. Ant Man & Wasp is in like 2 weeks.

Another nice thing about growing old is your kids get older. Evil, get Ivy or Phil Jr. to intern for the Summer and have one of them do the damn update. I can't wait till Monday afternoon for this critical interesting small-talk bullet point shit.

Good lord.

Yes, I'm sniffing the snark.

On the other hand, you could have just, oh...I don't know...posted it yourself? Approving it is far easier than creating and posting it, so a red could have done that more quickly.

Just sayin.'

HaHa. It's summer. Mrs. Evil is asleep in the morning when I would usually post these articles, so I switched to posting them at 4:30 or 5:00 when I wake up before work.

In a couple of weeks when school starts, I'll be back to posting them again around 8:00 AM.

I have been wanting to get my Son posting for a while. He is a good writer and he just loves playing PC games and streaming. He only plays games on the PC and he plays a different game every week. I'll have to get him to start posting a Pure Evil Jr. about whatever he is playing that week.

Evil Jr. is more like...

Grumpy. Cruel. Or disagreeable. Hmm, that works.

I hereby dub your son DisagreeEvil. Almost by not quite really evil.

Have him start with the movie thing next week now that he's out of school.

Just got back from Jurassic World: Whatever Whatever Mumble Bumble. They have mined the absolute hell out of this franchise. You already know what happens. It's so predictable, I knew who would save the day before they'd even finished explicating the premise for this go around. The sound even went out for five minutes or so (they 'rewound' the film back to where we lost sound) and folks were cracking wise ('who sat on the remote? Unmute the sound!'). My wife and I were joking the dialogue was so bad they just decided to mute it.

I also realized why Ron Howard's daughter isn't a breakout star. She's cute but she has the charisma of a wet sock puppet.
