What's up with women not enjoying such humor?
My wife and college daughter (home after year finished) were having real trouble and frustration communicating today about stuff like rides, etc...and I mentioned "It makes me feel better to know that even women find communicating with women difficult."
I thought that was hilarious, but she didn't laugh. She stuck her tongue out at me and gave me a face. And that was my wife.
I love marriage.

Because it hits too close to home I think. Women don't like to admit how unreasonable in reality their expectations are, never mind they expect you to also be a mind reader and don't feel they should have to actually communicate what they feel, the man should just know somehow. 50 years of pushing feminism will do that.

https://insideclimatenews.org/sites/...e%20Effect.pdf
What do you know?! It's May 2019 and we just reached 415ppm of CO2.
https://scripps.ucsd.edu/programs/keelingcurve/
Also check page 18 of the report for a fun little analysis of another study:
Quote:
The study considered the implications of limiting atmospheric CO2 at two different levels:
1. Rate of CO2 addition to the atmosphere be limited to 450-500 ppm in 50 years.
2. The concentration ceiling for atmospheric CO2 be in the range of 500-1000 ppm
The rationale for choosing these limits is economic. If the rate of CO2 increase is too rapid, then society may not be able to economically adapt to the resulting climate change.
|
That "then society may not be able to economically adapt to the resulting climate change" bit is a very dry way of saying "if the changes happen too fast, society will collapse."
Basically, we have an oil company admitting that climate change is real, all the way back in 1982, and the forecast they made back then is spot on.

I fail to get your point.
From the article that you linked:
Quote:
While rising carbon dioxide concentrations in the air can be beneficial for plants, it is also the chief culprit of climate change. The gas, which traps heat in Earth’s atmosphere, has been increasing since the industrial age due to the burning of oil, gas, coal and wood for energy and is continuing to reach concentrations not seen in at least 500,000 years. The impacts of climate change include global warming, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and sea ice as well as more severe weather events.
The beneficial impacts of carbon dioxide on plants may also be limited, said co-author Dr. Philippe Ciais, associate director of the Laboratory of Climate and Environmental Sciences, Gif-suv-Yvette, France. “Studies have shown that plants acclimatize, or adjust, to rising carbon dioxide concentration and the fertilization effect diminishes over time.”

So... Thanks for helping me make my case. Due to the rising CO2 emissions, that drive climate change, the world is getting greener.

Yes there is climate change, it's called different seasons. Not trying to push an agenda to further tax people. The issue with "climate" scientists is they ignore every other factor except for man when it comes to changing temperature, including naturally occurring cycles of the earth, solar flares etc. When you're in fear of you funding drying up for not pushing a narrative, you're not really doing good science.

Got it. The oil companies have proven themselves trustworthy. Good to know! So you can trust them that fracking is just fine and that we're doing just fine on CO2 as well.
But don't trust them about CO2. Trust reality: We lead the EU in CO2 reductions. If you sent our emissions to zero, you'd be no better off, either. Your problem now is with China and India.
Good luck!
Also, page breaking image posters, FFS don't do that any more. It's annoying as hell.
