  6. Thank You for Your Service $3.7/$3.7
  7. Only The Brave $3.4/$11.9
  8. The Foreigner $3.2/$28.8
  9. Suburbicon $2.8/$2.8
  10. It $2.4/$323.7
  11. Let there be Light $1.8/$1.8
  12. American Made $1.6/$48.5

Man, these are just dismal days for the box office. Hopefully Ragnarok can breath some life back into things next month. And, of course, Star Wars will fill some seats in December.

Ragnarok made over $100 million overseas on opening weekend. I think it will be a pretty big hit. It will still be a low box office because it's an oddball weekend, but it should do good.

IT is insane that IT made more money than all these combine so far. Oh how I wish I could go to movies again. Sadly that is a young man's and an old man's pursuit, not a middle aged one's.

Blade Runner is working so far with the typical 33/66% split at ~$83m domestic and ~$142m international for ~$225 total. A few more weeks and it'll have made a small profit and that's without China, where it was supposed to open on the 27th, reporting.

That doesn't mean it'll make the est. $400m Alcon needs to save itself from the other disasters it produced but at least Blade Runner won't go down as a debacle.
