Meet the Cast of the New Mortal Kombat Movie

Quote:
Hiroyuki Sanada (Lost, Westworld, Avengers: Endgame) will play the hell-bound ninja Hanzo Hasashi - aka Scorpion - who's determined to seek revenge with his sharp Kunai-tipped chains. Chris Casamassa and J.J. Perry played the role previously.
View the rest of the cast over at IGN.

Good lord! Just started to read some of the comments on that IGN page.

Is this what society is now? Baffled.

Anyway I'm REALLY looking forward to a 'good' MK film. Plus I've always wanted to shout, "Finish him" at random moments in my life. All probably very wrong.

That’s the Kotaku segment of society at work. - bask in the greatness!

I don't mind any of the cast so far, although Mileena is supposed to be Kitana's twin with a Baraka mouth. So who will be cast as Kitana I wonder.

I look forward to this as well, but I thought the first MK film was actually pretty good. The second one was one of the worst things ever made, but the first was pretty good, right?

I remember when I saw the first one in my teenage days and I tought it looked really good and entertaining... considering it is a fighter game movie it was pretty good .

I think I never saw the second one.

If anyone still hasn't watched the two Mortal Kombat Legacy seasons, they were originally released online, so they can be found on Youtube as far as I know. They are really good so I ended up buying them on Bluray, but here are episodes 1 of each season to get you started. Seriously if you have never seen this series it is awesome.

I'm getting pretty excited about this movie. I liked the original, but it felt like the gloves were on. This one looks like it'll have a lot more production value with the gloves off!

Loved the original and am looking forward to something that gives a more serious tone to the series with super production values.

I'm also looking forward to the ultra production value.
