frk, your new nickname is "The Author".

Excellent review. I really have no reason not to pick this game up since I had so much fun with the demo.

Muchos thankyas, Ben. I've had a lot of fun with the game, so it was actually nice to get to express some of my experiences in review form. I'll have to try it again sometime soon.

Oh, and incidentally--I actually spent some time with the Photo mode in Blur last night, and little did I know that it's actually a pretty powerful utility (considering it's just an extra in a single videogame) that lets you take a picture either mid-race on in the "showroom" mode of your cars. You can make all sorts of picture adjustments, including angle and zoom of the shot, color balancing, intensity, and several other settings. Best of all, you can post any photo you take in-game straight to Facebook. I didn't realize this before; I thought you could just do the status updates declaring the latest unlock, race you won, or level gained. All in all, it's a VERY nice feature that Microsoft would be INGENIOUS to include as a standard feature of the Guide button so that it could be implemented in all 360 games. (Actually, that was sort of what I was hoping for when they first announced FaceBook support on the 360. Too bad it didn't out to be anything nearly that cool... )

Here's one I took last night:

And that's without even fiddling with the color balance or other effects. Pretty sweet!
