Destiny has micro transactions and DLC, best of both money grubbing activities. If I didn't enjoy the game I wouldn't be so upset about it. But i am not getting this, especially at $35.

I very much regret buying the season pass. This first DLC is 2 story missions that double as the new strikes, some reskinned items, and a fuckload of content locked behind Eververse, including an emote that can be used to LFG in public spaces. More changes are coming next week but I doubt it will be enough to keep me playing.

I was all about it when i got it. NotnEmore. I dont have the want to sit and figure out if Bungie is trying to fuck me by gimping the game to herd me to microtransaction or not. I aint got time for that garbage, just fucking die.

You don't like microtransactions, you don't like macrotransactions... Sheesh, what DO you like?

It's still weird to me that DLCs are released so quickly. I miss the old days where you'd pay $50 for a game, play the shit out of it, then a year or two later an expansion would release for ~30, and you'd play the shit out of that.

I just don't like the new(ish) business model of nickel-and-diming us gamers. But, at least we still have indie titles... unfortunately, most of them are 8-bit nostalgia-clones.

I guess I'm just a miserable, cynical old fuck.
