Wild West Knockout Shooter Sky Noon Launches on Steam Early Access, Trailer

Click on the Headline for the Trailer.

Quote:
Sky Noon takes place in a reinvented Wild West universe where the frontier floats among the clouds. Powerful factions crave to control the most precious resource in the West: water. Players take the role of hired gunslingers that battle opposing fighters across floating islands in the sky. There are no health meters in Sky Noon; instead, to eliminate enemies, players use various super-power compressed air weapons to send them flying out of their boot spurs! Grappling hooks and lassos must constantly be used to prevent players from falling off into the great blue sky. Combined with other items like steam-powered jetboots, jump pads, teleporters, and more, cowboys need to be quick on the draw and light on their boots in the fast-paced, aerial mayhem of Sky Noon.

It is, but it also looks like a lot of fun.

Yeah, the back and forth push and pull might actually be a lot of fun.

I question if the game should have been released as a free to play game with cosmetics as the downloads. 14.99 is a lot for a game that might only have enough content/fun for a weekend. The Steam forms already have a few complaints about low population. Low player count with kill the game off fast, so I hope the developers have a back-up plan if the problem persist.

Looks neat, but probably needs to be 3rd person POV in this age of Fortnite.

Its really fun. Could use a bit more variety, but that will come with time. The core game is solid and a blast. Had me giggling like a little kid all last night.

The population is small right now, but it did JUST come out. And I have not had an issue finding a game yet.
