I went to see A Quiet Place. It was perhaps one of the best horror movies I've seen in a long time. It had a few jump scares but otherwise it was well constructed, had a decently cohesive story, and was totally engrossing.

Also, I want to point out Michael Bay was one of the producers on the movie so suck it haters!

This weekend is Deadpool 2.

I skipped Deadpool 2. I really wanted to go see it and in the end I just decided that since no one else I knew wanted to see it that I'll just take the $18 I would have spent on the tickets and pre-order the Blu-ray for a Day 1 delivery.

Do you live in an old people's home or something? A morgue? What is wrong with the people you know?

Now that the numbers for Inifnity War are low enough, I may finally get around to watching the movie before it goes out of the cinemas.

And I like seeing these numbers for Deadpool 2. Will encourage more super hero movies to be made that are not done in the Marvel formula.

Me and about 50+ other nerds rented out one of the smaller theaters locally and saw it early. Had a great time.

Went with my wife and we enjoyed Deadpool 2. Actually may have been a bit better than the first. Close call.

Still haven't seen it.... :-/ I'll either watch it tonight or tomorrow. This and Solo! Good week for movies. I am hoping Solo will be at least entertaining.

I want to think I will like Solo, but the guy playing Han just does not do it for me. He just does not fit the voice.

Deadpool was good. Might like the first one a bit more but it was fun.

I enjoyed Deadpool 2, but every time I think about it, I can't shake that something felt off. It was almost too slapstick and silly. There's a line when the comedy goes from purely funny, to kind of annoying. There were a few times where it crossed the line for me.

Also, fyi, there originally was a post credit scene where he went back in time and kills baby Hitler, but they ended up cutting it after test screenings. Hopefully it'll be on the bluray.
