I read that this wasn't as good as Borderlands 2, anyone playing it wanna comment on that?

The weapons in BL3 handle better & most have an alternate firing mode. The gameplay overall is better than in previous Borderlands. However, the setting is not near as good as BL2. Played through the campaign & did some farming afterwards & none of it was very memorable at all.
I'd be happy with a revamp of BL2 with BL3's gameplay & weapons.

Massive BL fanboy, Looking forward to this and specifically purchased game and DLC up front so will dig into this when it launches.
Think Booda nailed it. Guns, Gameplay, Mechanics are all improved. Despite that BL2 storyline > BL3 (Handsome Jack was a awesome character). I'm pumped alot of hours into BL 3 already and will continue to do so. Interested to see which playable characters they end up adding in

Kreige was by far my favorite character.
If they bring him back, or have a similar character, I'd almost kick my epic game store protest to buy it.
MAYBE... probably not. but i'd be tempted. |

I knew it was out, but the videos make it look so much like the last game that I decided to wait it out for the GotY edition.

I thought it was pretty fun. Had some great loot mechanics and cracked me up at least a dozen times. I didn't regret my purchase.... |

Superior gunplay to BL2, but inferior in every other way, IMO. A disappointing sequel that is best justified at $25.99 for the GotY version.
