It's Sunday: What NFL Games Are You Watching?

My Minnesota Vikings continue to unravel! I'll be watching them try to pick up a much needed win against the Red Skins today.

What games are you watching?

I'll be at the Cardinals - 49ers game, so I guess I'll be watching that, but I'll be remaining hopeful for my Broncos vs. the Saints.

watching the Hawks as usual.

bit of a rant. So as a 'loyal' ATT/directv customer I got the NFL Sunday ticket for free this year. I've never paid to watch football or any other sport, I'm not a huge fan and I only care about the local teams which are on local broadcast stations anyway. But it's free so it's a rare opportunity for me to check out something like this.

I have to say it's piece of shit and I don't know why anyone would pay for it. So far it would've allowed me to watch Two Seahawks games this year if it was my only source of football. $200+ and I would have seen 2 games for my team. Fuck that.

oh yeah and the name is a lie. You don't even get to watch all games on sunday. Today is a prime example, the Seahawks play at 5:30 and evening games aren't part of the 'Sunday ticket'

Yup, it's a scam.

On another note, Packers down 14-0 against the Titans. Thank GOD. Maybe they will fire Grimace now.

How 'bout them Cowboys?

It was a close game...but I'm hesitating to call it a nail-biter. The Cowboys just feel so confident this year; you could tell they weren't panicking at all when they were down with only 42 seconds left. The Steelers did not let up, though...but, their defense let 'em down. Anytime an offense is able to put up 30 points, you should win the game.

I'm certainly not going to get ahead of myself with them, but the Cowboys are having a special season so far.

Dude, it's 2016! At this point, I think the Bengals have a chance at a ring.

All of the AFC teams are pretty flawed. It'll be tough going for any of them to knock the Pats out of the playoffs. (though hopefully one of them do).

-Jokeland Faders are looking great on offense, they have a mediocre defense, despite the presence of Khalil Mack. More their secondary is pretty suspect. They just won't be able to hang with a team like the Patriots.

-The Steelers defense can be exposed as they were yesterday by the Cowboys, and their number 2 and 3 options at WR are inconsistent.

-Denver still has a pretty great defense, but their offense and offensive line is pretty bleak. Their defense is on the field all game long. They lead the league in 3 and outs. Trevor Seimian isn't that bad for them. He's just made to look even worse in front of that garbage line. Teams that have generated no pass rush all season long such as the Saints, Chargers, and Atlanta got buckets of sacks on Denver.

The Patriots will most likely win the AFC. And in the NFC it's got to be the Cowboys or Seattle as favorites there. I wouldn't mind seeing the Cowboys in the Super Bowl again, but FUCK ME if I have to watch another Patriots - Seahawks Super Bowl.

you can't tell me they aren't fun to watch. Last night was a perfect example. You put those two teams together and you're going to get your money's worth.

It's different when you live in New England and don't cling on to the Patriot's bandwagon.

I like to see the Patriots as far from the Super Bowl as possible.

Yah, along the lines of what Chimpbot said, the fanbase of New England is sad (at least here in Maine). Loud and half of them barely even watch, if ever, and seldom ever know what they're talking about. And I know that's a given with any team/fanbase. You'll always have some of those, but I live in the middle of it, and it's my perspective. The SEA vs NE games are kind of fun lately, I won't disagree. They're not bad. But I'm not interested in another Patriots representation of the Super Bowl at all.

I'd rather watch RG3 in the Super Bowl. Wow, I'd rather watch Tannehill in the Super Bowl. I'd rather witness the resurrection of Kyle Orton's or Bubby Brister's career and watch them in the Super Bowl. I'd rather go back and watch Brad Johnson win again. I'd rather watch Kyle Boller. Brady Quinn. Rex Grossman. Heath Shuler. Jimmy Clausen. Danny Wuerfell. Ken Dorsey. I'd rather watch Nick Foles in the Super Bowl. Marc Wilson. Curtis Painter. Akili Smith. GUS FREROTTE. I'd rather watch a team with JaMarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, and Maurice Clarett on the roster, coached by Buddy Ryan, owned by Matt Millen, and the game announced by Dennis Miller and Joe Theismann.

But seriously, 9 Super Bowls have been represented by the Patriots and/or Seahawks since January, 1997. Many teams haven't been at all in that span. It would be nice to see different team matchups. I'm a Broncos fan and hate the Chiefs, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Chiefs v Cowboys Super Bowl if the Broncos don't make it. (and they most likely wont)
