It's Sunday: What NFL Games Are You Watching?

My Minnesota Vikings are falling apart, and they are playing the Lions who have won their last 3 games.

What games are you watching?

Here's hoping the Packers are able to beat the colts!

2. Dolphins do not squish
3. Jets crash and burn

Go Fins.

(PS, one of my friends is also a Jets fan and we have a great time going back and forth talking trash.)

My friend and I had three jets season tickets for years. We used to bring friends to see their team with the third ticket. A good friend of ours is a Dolphins fan. We had some fun going back and forth with him. Jets vs Dolphins had some crazy games over the years.

Steelers fans rode in the back of the truck.

Aside from the Cowboys - Browns game, there really isn't anything that piqued my interest. I ended up spending most of the day playing Skyrim, anyway.

Well the Vikings threw another one away. Walsh needs to be canned now!

So did the Packers. I guess today can just go away.

I watched the Packers Colts game (first mostly full game I've watched in a while.) It seems like Rodgers and the Packers still can't quite get muster a big come from behind attitude. Rodgers certainly has talent but he kind of reminds me of Rob Johnson from back in the 90s and early 2000s. He has great stats a lot of the time but he plays too safe.

Seems to me Rogers has lost a step this season. Age is starting to set in.

The Packers are all kinds of fucked up.

Besides injuries, they have a massive coaching problem. Here, I'll let this guy explain it in a much more eloquent way.

While he's no longer a 20-something rookie...he's only 32. QB's don't typically start showing those signs until around the 38-year mark; for whatever reason, the ones who are capable of sticking around until almost 40 all seem to hit a wall right around that age.

He's still young, so I don't think age has anything to do with it.

Honestly, I think Rodgers has been exposed, to a degree; he's relatively easy to fluster and when you manage to get him to that point, he definitely shows it on the field. Cam Newton may have been criticized over this season and last for throwing little tantrums on the field...but Rodgers has been regularly throwing tiny fits since at least 2014. He's also becoming a bit more predictable: For example, if they're facing 3rd-and-short yardage, absolutely everyone watching the game knows he's either going to go with a hard count to draw an off sides penalty or get the play off as quickly as possible to catch the other team with a 12th guy on the field.

Rodgers hasn't really changed all that much over the years, which I think is part of the problem. With that being said, he's still one of the best in the game right now...but, I think he almost became accustomed to Green Bay steamrolling through the season like the Juggernaut and when opposing teams have figured out how to contain and beat them, he can't quite seem to handle it.

Same feeling after my Broncos decided not to bring an offense with them or put any emotion into a game against the Raiders for the lead in the AFC West. That offense has the most 3 and outs in the league. The defense can't do everything.

I think a lot of this is spot on. Again, the guy has talent but he seems to only play really well in easy situations. He's not the type of QB who, as they say, will put the whole team on his back and drag them into the endzone.
