It's Sunday: What NFL Games Are You Watching?

Well it's -15 outside my house right now, so I'll be staying in today. When I'm not gaming I'll be watching the Vikings try to go for another win.

What games are you watching today?

NE v DEN. I know my Broncos' chances are slim to none, but you never know. And we need this game to get into the playoffs, especially with MIA winning yesterday. Will be interesting to see if our Oline shows up at all today (not likely). Patriots will probably pass protect better than they did in the AFC Championship last year, so our D, and especially our secondary better be on their A game.

Won't be able to watch the Packers vs. Bears today. Daughter has a ballet performance in a Nutcracker in Milwaukee.

I think the wife did it on purpose, she could've bought Sat tickets! Arghhh!

DVR it, and stay away from social media to avoid scores!

Can you really DVR a ballet performance? If so, I need to start looking into that...

Tampa Bay - Dallas, for me. Dallas needs this win to not only shore up their placement in the playoffs, but to shut up all of the ridiculous chatter surrounding the Dak/Romo situation.

It's hockey night in Jersey with the NY Rangers playing the NJ Devils. Go Rangers! (I was a Rangers fan before the Devils existed.)

The NY Jets got their humiliation out of the way last night.

If Dak has a bad game, I think Romo gets the call. He was a rookie deer in the headlights last week. Literally. The camera shots of his face late in the game looked like a scared, frozen deer.

He's a rookie. A bad game today means the wheels are coming off. Don't forget Kaepernick and his drop to obscurity. He's a shadow of his early self. It happens...

I think Dak is this year's overrated Rookie. The Cowboys have an amazing TEAM right now, with possibly the best Oline and RB combo. When you have that you're not really asking your QB to win the game for you, but rather to not make mistakes.

He's okay, I guess. His throwing motion is bad, and his arm strength is decent but not great. I dunno, we need to see him on a team with no other talent to see if he can win games.

I agree. The secret to his success has been a combination of an absolutely amazing offensive line, a great running back who, a run game that (with the line and RB) takes a lot of pressure off of the QB AND opens up the throwing game, and an ability to avoid glaring errors (at least until last week).

He deserves some credit for his lack of mistakes (with the O line and RB getting a lot of credit, as well as the coaching staff and game plan taking the heat off of him). Other than that, I think his endurance in the league at his current level of play is questionable at best.

I think his OC deserves a lot of credit along with the QB coach as far as that is concerned. Also, he seems like a reaerved, take orders type of QB, much like a Alex Smith, but with better arm stregnth.

Many analysts are criticizing Kansas City's offense for being the most "boring" (conservative), but Dallas fans shouldn't point fingers. In fact, many of the big or explosive plays I've seen from Dallas are usually Elliot running away or Dak hitting someone deep due to blown/shifty coverage. I think I saw only one, good back shoulder throw from him all year.

Until I see him truly dominate a long possession drive where they throw for a majority of the downs, really carving up the field with amazing accuracy, I don't think he should be in the MVP conversation. And there ARE analysts who pose that question.

Anyways, performance was amazing today at the Nutcracker, my daughter was adorable. Brought me to tears every time she was on stage.

Oh yeah, Go Pack. Aaron Rodgers..... that is all. Wait, that's not all, Ty Montgomery.

Scott Linehan definitely deserves a ton of credit; he's done some great things with this offense so far. While Dak does tend to be a little conservative, I think he's a better "field commander" than he gets credit for and his decision making is about as good as you could hope for. At the end of the day, he's still a rookie.

I think you're selling Dak pretty short, in this case. The guy has - on multiple occasions - targeted upwards of eight receivers multiple times...and they all end up with multiple catches. He can most definitely carve up defenses and he can get it done with a wide variety of receivers.

Besides, the long possession drives are long and clock-chewing not because of the passing game...but, because of the running game. Their modus operandi is to ground-and-pound the football to wear out defenses and pass when necessary. It's what led them to 12-4 in 2014 and it's what led them to 12-2 so far in 2016.

It's not flashy, but it works and it works well. I, for one, love this sort of playstyle. If you want to see someone air it out every other play, you need to watch Baltimore; their entire offensive strategy is to have Flacco lob it down the field and pray for a pass interference call.

I'm glad it was a good performance!

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't enjoying Green Bay's struggles this year.
