The Steam Autumn Sale Has Begun, Steam Awards Announced #Steam

Valve has launched another assault on gamers' wallets with the Steam Autumn Sale. In addition, Valve has introduced the Steam Awards.

Quote:
The Steam Autumn Sale 2016 starts now, with great deals across the Steam catalog throughout Black Friday and Cyber Monday*. Come back every day to see new featured titles, or check out the games that are recommended for you.

In addition to discounts on thousands of great games, join the nomination process for the Steam Awards. Nominate your favorite games across a variety of categories, and earn profile XP and badges for participating! Your nominations will help determine the finalists for each category. In December, you can vote on the winners for each category during the Steam Winter Sale. Learn more about the Steam Awards here.

*Offers end Tuesday November 29th at 10am Pacific.
Thanks, Anemone!

They stopped doing that sort of thing a year ago; they're not really doing flash sales anymore.

What you see is what the price is going to be.

It won't work it out. I have a 290 in crossfire and it's smooth as butter.

Since I have been mainly playing Overwatch, Master of Orion, Elite: Dangerous and Tyranny; it'll have to do. Perhaps it's time to reinstall Crysis 2.

I'll be checking them out for sure! A few games have come out over the last two years that I haven't picked up.

Nope.

With the loss of the flash and daily sales, Steam sales have lost their charm for me.

Also, the Christmas (oops, that was offensive sorry, "Holiday") Sale is right around the corner and the deals during that are usually much better.

If anyone cares:

Ubisoft has a sale going where if you buy one of their recent games (watchdogs, for honor, for example)

They give you one of their older games (The Division, Rainbow Six, for example) for free.

It's Ubi though..

Still no comprehensive mass effect set (with Dlc included). I spread my experience to different platforms over the years. I want to get the whole shebang on PC, but don't want to pay for each fiddling piece of dlc at full price.

1. Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 both are marked down to $40.
2. Old games (even just two years old) are mostly around $15 (Sims 4, Dragon Age: Inquision, Battlefield 4, etc.)
3. Mass Effect trilogy = $15 (but who doesn't have this already and it doesn't include DLC).

Honestly, I don't see anything there that I want personally. For the most part, EA's games are Day One or never to me because they shove Origin down our throats. The exception is when they eventually show up years later on a Humble Bundle.

I also grabbed Titanfall 2 (though that was before the sale, Titanfall and BF were on sale a few days earlier for some reason.) Not sure if it still works, but for anyone who is interested you can get even further discounts with the promotional code TITAN20 (brought the deluxe edition down to $55.99CAD).
