It is stupid, it is lunacy, but it's a lunacy of the progressive left. It's not 'lunatic' to refer to others' mental illnesses, and 'trigger warnings' and being 'triggered' really is a psychological issue not on the part of the disseminator of information, but on the 'triggered' receiver.

Blame the left, not those describing the lunacy of the left.

The original term was used for people who suffered PTSD I think. Some words/scenes/sounds would trigger their PTSD and they would suffer episodes. I don't think the term is stupid. I think the left equating their idiotic feelings to soldiers suffering episodes is the stupid part.
