I have been playing a review copy of F1 2017 for close to a week. I love it. They added some cool new features, like classic F1 cars and beefed up the practice sessions with a couple of new categories.

They gameplay is consistent with last year's game, which was very good. There's plenty of driving aid options that range from hardcore sim to quite forgiving.

If you're an F1 fan, or looking for a racing sim with a good career mode this is a good choice.

4.5/5

Decent enough presentation during the career mode?

It's a lot like last year, though they streamlined it a bit removing the meeting cut-scenes with the engineer. You'll have team offers based on performance. There's a lounge where you have a laptop and phone to manage upgrades, rivalries and the team. It's more team management focused, than flashy cut scenes. Codemasters added more options, but made it quicker to get back to the track.

Cool, sounds decent enough. Thanks for the info.

I like how in the picture of all the drivers at the end everyone has a serious expression except Ricciardo, who's smiling like a loon.
