Truth is... I only keep a handful of them that I want and then I trade/donate to other local Seattle big box collectors. Share da love, my friend

I am still mad that I had to get rid of a ton of my big boxes back in the early 2000s when my parents moved out of their forever home. I was in college at the time so I just did not have the space for them. I kept as many as I could, but a very large collection of boxes were thrown out one day.

I can't tell you how many times I've been to a garage sale where the parents tell me a similar story while their son or daughter is away at college and they are selling all their stuff...
Does that mean I feel bad enough to not BUY IT FROM THEM!? Oh hell no!

Wow, I may need to stop being lazy and watch this video for the Amiga games!!! So little time to even play my games anymore let alone watch videos. And my new house is only 2500sqft with no basement. I had been dreaming of the monstrous house required to house a collection the size of MJs... something like a 3500sqft with a mancave. Alas, it was not to be.

At least it was only the boxes. If it was the games as well, hell would need to be paid. But games take up substantially less space then the big boxes did, so they were fine with big ass boxes full of games. For me, their size was "the" factor in their coolness, so I don't think it ever occurred to me to make them smaller and easily store-able by cutting the sides so you could flatten them. I did that with many other games (God I loved that trapazoid Tomb Raider box), but didn't with my big boxes.
