I have no medical background to say this, but I wonder if the elevation changes of airplanes are bad for people on drugs. I feel like I've read about a number of people who die on airplanes of drug related causes.

It could be the the airplane contributes. or it could just be that people with expensive drug habits spend a lot of time flying. I don't know.

this has some interesting notes about how air flight does affect the way alcohol and drugs react to the human body.

Of course, the people who don't abuse drugs and know how exactly to get the best high are the dumb ones. Not the person who suddenly dies in an airplane or chokes on their own vomit in a NY apartment or drowns in a bathtub. Those people are geniuses.

That is interesting. I have actually found the opposite to be true. Many years ago when I was younger, the company I worked for sent me to Taiwan to work on a contract. My company put me in first class which happened to include free alcohol. I know I drank like 5 vodka tonics and got nothing out of it. Another time my wife and I were chaperoning a group of high school students on a tour of Europe (free for chaperones, great deal). On the trip over I drank several beers (I was a real role model for those kids). Nothing. I didn't drink on a flight again, it was worthless.

I was young and stupid back then, though. Now I'm no longer young. *sigh*

To go for a high note, or a long note, that is the question.

Didn't really need this information in my life, but there it is. Doesn't make me think less of her. Underwhelming performance in the latest Star Wars, but great in the originals.

I'll assume whiskey is interchangeable with beer... Yeah, I'll just assume.

I'm hoping this will have a positive effect on her acting career.
