Weekend Gamer: What are you playing?

Sometimes Friday comes and go so quickly, that it is only Saturday night you realize the weekend is here. So what are you playing?

Grinding Fortnite. Playing squads is actually pretty fun. Already have a couple of wins to boot.

The Dig and Deus Ex GMDX. I tried the Revision mod available on Steam first and found it kind of horrific. Character models are shit and the level changes are unnecessarily cluttered. Nowhere near as bad as the revolting Fakefactory Half Life 2 Cinematic Mod. An example of taking a diamond and polishing it until you have a lump of coal. But the GMDX mod is everything I wanted out of an upgraded Deus Ex. Tons of common sense gameplay and AI tweaks with new unobtrusive level details like better skyboxes, high res textures, some new 3D models, etc. Check it out.

I've been playing the heck out of the NES for the last week or so. I completed 1942 yesterday. Today I'm playing Life Force.

The arcade 19XX games are incredible. I played through 1944 and 19XX: The War Against Destiny on my tv through Steam link last weekend. 19XX has the best music and is batshit insane.
