METAL JESUS ROCKS!: Last Gen's Raddest Gems

It doesn't seem so long ago that I first experienced the mildly whimsical epiphany that kids "today" would think of the Nintendo 64 and Playstation as their retro consoles. Then I had the compound sensation of epiphany and dejavu when I realized that the kids "today" would one day wax nostalgic over the Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube the way I do over the NES and Commodore 64. And here we are yet again, come to another epiphanic jumping-off point: Isn't it odd to consider that some day, 20 years or so hence, the kids of "today" will be seeking out working Xbox 360s and paying ridiculous prices for complete copies of hard-to-find titles like Bullet Witch and Fusion Frenzy 2?

Rather than blindly following a future iteration of RarityGuide, a better strategy for today's children and nascent 7th-gen collectors might be to check the YouTube archives and seek out the ancient wisdom of a gilded gaming sage; one who is one with the "You Won!" screen, as it were. A video such as this week's episode of METAL JESUS ROCKS!, wherein the Heavy Metal Melchizedek cues the faithful on what green rectangles contain the treasures future fortune hunters and yard sale crawlers will seek as the doomsday clock of their digital destruction ticks ever onward towards oblivion.

TLDR version: MJ's dishing up Round 3 of under-appreciated games for 360 that you'll one day be kicking yourself for not picking up now while they're ubiquitously available and dirt cheap. Educate yourself, gamer! Future you is depending on... umm.... you:

Yeah, it's not a perfect game, but Eat Lead is one of my favorite guilty-pleasures for the 360. It has great inside jokes for gamers and some laugh-out-loud moments that will leave your wife/girlfriend shaking their head. (Which is how you know it's awesome.)

When the xbox started out it had many of what I would call hidden gems, but as the generation went on it changed into something hollow. My two to add to the list are Battlestaion Pacific or Midway and the first Naruto game.

I loved it too, borrowed it of mate when he insisted I play it. Can't say he was wrong.

I always wanted to try Blur, I remember when that game came out and people were liking it. Next flea market I go to I'm going to look for it.

I have most of these in my massive 360 collection.... except Bullet Witch. I think that ranks up there as one of the worst games ever. I recall buying it and then it being one of the ONLY games I ever sold back.

I really do think it's one of the best arcade racers of last gen. So freakin' awesome!

Blur is magnificent, but I'd say mostly in multiplayer. In single player, it was balls to the wall tough. Speaking of which, I quit just before I hit level 50 online (Legend or something), need to get back and achieve that, if anyone is still playing.
