Unreal Engine 4 developers now have free access to $12 million of assets from Paragon, Epic Games' multiplayer online battle arena game. With even more to come soon, this initial release includes 20 AAA-quality characters, with their respective skins, animations, VFX and dialogue, along with over 1,500 environment components from Paragon. This content is now available free of charge in the Unreal Engine Marketplace, where developers may download Paragon packs to use in their own UE4 projects. Download UE4 for free at http://unrealengine.com.

Someone quickly rework these models and use them in unreal tournament that's on the unreal launcher, we need to breathe life in to that before it's dead, and this might just be the chance.

An enterprising person would pull these down and import them into Unity and then sell them on the unity asset store. I bet you could make at least thousands of dollars this year by doing that.

Go for it, and then when Epic sues your ass off we can point and laugh.

The EULA specifically states for Unreal Engine Projects.

A brilliant move. It will give UE hobbyists a boost to their development and show them what a real professional asset, blueprint, and other part of the game looks like.

This is the sort of thing which Unity, Buildbox, and a few other engines hold over UE to this day.

Oh that sucks. All the headlines said free so I assumed they did an MIT license or something similar.
