May not be everyone's cup of tea but Farenheit 11/9 is a good info dump from the last two years. The minute the editing gets fast and choppy, that is when Moore's hand is most apparent, but otherwise great film.

It was a massive flop at the box office. It opened on almost 1800 screens and only pulled in $3 million for the weekend and will probably top out at $10 million total.

He just isn't saying things that people care about any more. At one time he really had a great mix of humor and politics, now he's just a cranky old man yelling at a cloud.

Didn't go to the theater but I saw Ant-Man in Netflix (yeah , I'm way behind).

I actually liked it a lot, very entertaining, now I will look for Ant-Man and the Wasp.

I cant imagine its any good unless that brand of politics is your echo chamber of choice. Nothing a night on youtube couldn't accomplish.

I didnt know he had a movie coming out, this explains why he was making the rounds a while back yaking about taking to the streets over Trump.

Your done fatty. Take that shit back to the house.

Moore hasn't just lost his marbles, he's lost his audience. It's hard to take a multimillionaire lunatic socialist seriously. LOLOLOL.

Looks like the Predator is a big flop, good. Maybe, just maybe they won't keep trying to remake classics.

Moore is a Marx wannabe, says he is a socialist, acts like a rich predator.

Hint his daughter was not raised socialist or ever shared the common' man's life.

Marx wasn't rich, he lived and died poor, 3 of his children died due to starvation. Yet the left idolizes what the guy stood for. Poorness for everyone hurrah!

Nothing would make me happier. Far too many remakes, let alone that most of them suck ass when compared to the source material. Just leave well enough alone Hollywood!!!

Re: Moore, If you label the guy, that means you don't take anything he has to say seriously because you see the label first, even if he has a point or an argument to make you'd agree with without the label.

There were some solid facts out of that film, regardless whether it was popular or not or did well at the box office or not. Like, you guys are criticizing him for not having an audience, which is like... ok? What about the film and the ideas it presents itself? He spends more time ripping apart the Democratic Party than Trump.

After watching it I might drive by Flint just to see the devastation myself.

And there was some quality protein in that pile of vomit a wild dog just ate. Doesn't mean it was worth eating the pile of vomit. Especially considering there are better options, lol.

I'll get my facts from a source that doesn't mix them in a solution of 95% puke, thank you!

Here is a hint: Flint has always been a shithole. Here is a second hint: All of the problems in Flint were caused by having decades of having Democrats in charge.

Yes, I don't disagree. Moore highlights that the Democrats had more to do with the state of Flint than anything leading up to Obama, and even showed how Obama royally screwed up a visit to Flint post-Water crisis. I would say the water problem they are having was a Rick Snyder / corrupted Republican governance problem.

My concern is about economic dead zones within the United States and seeing first-hand the reality that first world prosperity isn't reaching everyone. I would have loved to tag along on the U.N. Inspector who studied poverty in America that was such a controversial issue last year.

People act like labels are bad things but they're necessary. We can't take in all information all of the time and labels are one of the ways that we use to give our brains a summary of information. Yeah sometimes lables are used to discredit people or ideas but sometimes the labels are valid and earned. Moore definitely earned his labels. As for him making good points sometimes, I can't say it any better than Terran already did.
