TRUE STORY: Back in 2000, when the Titans made it to the Super Bowl against the seemingly unstoppable Rams, I watched most of the game only to have the Titans drop to 16-0 deficit with less than 8 minutes left. Knowing that the teams I root for always seem to lose (long-time 80s Braves fan here), I turn off the TV and vow not to watch anymore in the hope that my absence will avail the team of the curse. Some time later, I hear cheering and find out that the Titans have just pulled even with about 2 minutes left to play. So not able to stand it, I turn on the TV in my room and decide to watch. On the very next play, Warner hits Isaac Bruce for 70 or so yards and a touchdown with under 2 minutes left. Horrified, I immediately turn off the TV again. A few minutes later, I hear cheering again, and find out that Mcnair and the Titans have driven the length of the field down to the Rams 10 and are threatening to score. So again not able to stand missing all the excitement, I turn on the TV. On the ensuing play, Mcnair throws to a slanting Dyson who is all but sure to make it to the end zone, only to have a Rams tackle, SOMEHOW, wrap him up and drag him down at the 1 yard line as time expired.

Suffice to say, when the Giants were playing New England, I refused to even be in the proximity of a radio where the game was being broadcast. And we all know the happy ending to that story. You're welcome, Giants fans.

Being from New England, that day still stands as the most disappointing moment in NFL history for me.

Also, thanks again to everyone who listened to us, wrote, chatted, commented, and everything else in between. Oh look, I'm green. Hey that rhymed.

I'll really miss Shotgun Podcast, as it was the only podcast that I actually listened to frequently. I'm gonna miss you guys. You did a great job.

I'm from New England and I cheer every single time the Pats lose. Every. Single. Time.

Admittedly, I didn't listen to the podcast very often...but I immediately regretted that upon listening to the last episode. You guys had a great chemistry and it was definitely a fun listen. It's a shame to see it go.

Your intro was radical man, and in thanking everyone I missed you. Thanks to you for the theme of our generation.

Was nice to just give something back and not just read/listen all the time.
Thanks for using it.

So what's the story, Modeps? Couldn't take the pressure? Pushed out by Gzsfrk? Life situation changed, can't donate the time? Tired of the free games sent you to review :P Fight with the big man himself? Irreconcileable differences?

We may never know.

Yeah, it'll only take 20 minutes to not only answer all of your burning questions, but you'll be treated to a...lovely...song at the end. It'll make you laugh, it'll make you cry...and you just might learn a little something about yourself.

It's not that important. Besides, I thought you listened anyway.

The story of my departure:
Ever since Gzsfrk came on as a red, I've felt that his ideological philosophies weren't fit for a place of nefarious origins. Recently, his overzealous posting of reviews one after another just got the best of me and I snapped, giving it all up, and telling the internal staff that I had no intention of continuing on past PAX.

This story is completely false.

Damn dude. Listen to the 'cast. We totally gave you props by name for your unmatched sleuthing skills!

Also, not sure whether there will be an "official" news post as to the changing of the guard, but here is the explanation behind my departure.
