Dragon Age Inquisition Hits The Bargain Bin #DragonAgeInquisition

Amazon has dropped the price of BioWare's latest RPG, Dragon Age Inquisition, another $10 bringing it down to $29.99 for the Xbox One and PS4 versions.

Quote:
A cataclysmic event plunges the land of thedas into turmoil. Dragons darken the sky, casting a shadow of terror over a once-peaceful kingdom. Mages break into all-out war against the oppressive templars. Nations rise against one another. It falls to you and your party of legendary heroes to restore order.

Nice deal. I don't think I have time to start another RPG. My backlog is HUGE now and the more things that go on sale the bigger it gets.

This is a good deal. For $400 you get the Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection 1 TB Bundle, plus you get to choose one free game from titles like The Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Knight, Elder Scrolls Online and more.

If I had the extra money right now I'd order this with batman.

Ugh. I bought this game and still haven't played it.

It's hard to play modern Bioware games because they don't get fun until about 4-6 hours into it. I don't have that kind of time to get into something.

I have a bit of an allergy to EA games, not because of Origin necessarily, but because they almost NEVER include DLC in a single GotYE or the like, and I find that to be a grubby, cheap practice on their part.

So...no sale unless it's five bucks. Which will be a loooong time from now, lol.

I bought this game on a previous digital sale and have not really enjoyed it at all. The MMO aspects to the sidequests are boring and the combat feels generic and shallow. Does it get better?

No. Play it for the story and the characters, and not for the combat or quests.

I absolutely love this game, worth every penny. Even at 59.99$, huge areas to explore and lots of interesting story bits and companion shenanigans through the whole thing. Interesting systems for crafting and managing the Inquisition forces. Many hours can be sunk into this one especially if you are one to do multiple playthroughs.

I liked what gameplay I tried of that for a week or so, but I felt like I was spending half of my time in the menus managing inventory, planning out crafting, juggling armor and weapons that differed by a point or two, and setting waypoints. Sometimes there is just too much micromanaging to do in these RPGs.

Also, my character looked great in the character creator but looked like a lunatic when emoting during the opening cut scenes.
