Manning runs for a Senate seat

Chelsea Manning, convicted of giving military documents to Wikileaks, files candidacy to run for Senate in Maryland

If elected, Manning will identify as a Supreme Court justice.

And if he loses, he'll identify as having won.

Reality...making fiction look more boring and stupid by the day.

The great part is that cartoon candidates like this take votes and money away from legitimate candidates, in the end making it easier for the Republican to win.

A lot of people still say that Jill Stein did the same thing, if it wasn't for her running, Hillary might have won Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

I believe that is the case, just as Nader made Bush possible and Perot made Clinton possible.

Third-party candidates for president aren't going to have a shot in our lifetime, but they do draw votes from the candidate they most identify with ideologically, harming that candidate's chances.

God I hope so. Both that Ryan finally goes away and Paul wins.

I think Manning will make an awesome trans-voting block with Brianna Wu (nee John Flynt) when she finishes up her tough campaign in MA. Watch out Elizabeth Warren, there's "women" with victim points coming for your spot!

For Manning I think they should keep a seat warm for her/him on the Armed Service Committee and the Intelligence Committees. She/he's got a great deal of perspective and experience there and it's been a while since Wikileaks has really had any bombshell stuff to drop.
