Saw Joker last Thursday and was suitably entertained. I have to say there were times in the middle where I just about nodded off (granted, it was an early morning show) but most of the beginning and end were captivating.

I will likely never watch it again. It was one of those emotional leeches and drained me so much that while I enjoyed it I don't relish experiencing that drain again.

Sorry, but the Weekly Releases announcement was sucked into a black hole.

Pretend the weekly release list is Fortnite and just keep throwing money at it until something happens.

I didnít have access to my PC this morning, so the list will be delayed until morning. Hell of a day, right?

I watched Gemini Man. It was... acceptable. There's a moment of chat, in the catacombs, which resonated with my emotional side, but that's about it. Reasonable action, nothing special, but worth a watch if you're bored or wish to see Will Smith playing a serious Will Smith.

I watched El Camino and liked it. You kinda need to still have the Breaking Bad series fresh in your mind to really appreciate the movie. They don’t waste any time appealing to people unfamiliar with the show. It’s just a better extended finale with some flashbacks. A very appropriate ending.

Are you getting that list in one particular place? Like Amazon or GameFaqs or something like that? I'd just bookmark it for my own use.

Agreed on all points. I thought it started a bit slow but it was in full Breaking Bad form by the end. It didn't blow me away but it was a very solid effort.

Saw Joker on the weekend and felt it was a big ol' pile of "meh". Phoenix did a great job acting as usual, but it was plodding, meaningless, and filled with self importance it just couldn't deliver on.

Not to mention the Batman connections were completely unnecessary. I feel they detracted from the film for what minuscule portions they were.

Wait, they made ANOTHER Addams Family movie? This is the first I've heard of it. Is it a reboot or some kind of prequel or sequel? Nevermind, I don't really care enough to find out.

I love the vibe of the old Addams Family comics but this movie doesn't seem to capture it at all. It seems like yet another kids movie all about how we need to be accepting of "different" people, not like that white blonde lady who's leading the crusade against them. I half wanted to take the kids to see it when I first saw it announced because I was in the mood for a family movie and I love this time of the year. But then I came to my senses because, even before seeing the trailer, I just knew they would have to shove some this saccharine message in there and throw in an LGBTQ reference or two for good measure.

I haven't been to the theater in months cause reasons. I'm pumped to get out the door this week and the next a bit and I'm certainly going to see Joker. However, how about the following movies; worth my time?

1- Most recent Spiderman
2- Ad Astra

I thought the joker was "Very Average At Best"

To compare this movie to "Falling Down" is an insult.

Oh definitely. This is very much a movie we've all seen before. Taxi Driver, Falling Down, The King of Comedy, all superior in my opinion.

I hate to say it, but I agree.

I thought this movie was OK, I think what makes it stand out and be called "great" is the fact it doesn't bend to political bull shit that waters down movies.

Falling down, taxi driver are all amazing, I'd say this was a ok addition

Everybody talking about Falling Down. They have said Falling Down was actually a semi-remake of The Swimmer starring Burt Lancaster. It's similar, but I think there are too many differences. I like Falling Down (I have the DVD), but I did find The Swimmer to be the better movie.

Falling Down was great. Hard to believe the director immediately went on to put nipples on the Batman suit.
