Weekend Gamer: What are you playing?

One of the better ways to spend a weekend is playing games. What are you playing this weekend?

Final Fantasy XIV owns my soul, currently. I am surprised, didn't think I had one of those.

Fun game? Fun game?! It's a terrible game that quickly abandons its already simple mechanics into a three hour long QTE yet somehow overstays its welcomes due to sheer boredom. Pretty though.

Torment: Tides of Numenera launches fully next Tuesday, so I went ahead and picked up the Steam early release. I just plan on playing around with the character creator and learning some of the lore before the final release. Planescape: Torment was one of my favorite cRPGs of all time; I hope this one can come close to that. Otherwise I will be playing Overwatch, Just Cause 3 and Elite Dangerous.

I thought Ryse was really fun. Been planning to replay it actually. But first:

Upgraded PC, so

Crysis 3: can max the settings. All of them. But only get 40-50 fps. Jeez.
Halo Wars 2: I like good RTS' and this is one.
RE7: didn't realize it was cross buy from XB1. Starting over on PC now.
Titanfall 2: Duh.

PS4 Pro: Beat Yakuza 0, but still having fun doing other stuff. Definitely a top 10 of the year for me.
Need to get back to Nioh.

I'll be playing Halo Wars 2, assuming I have time (which I really won't). I have another road trip this weekend, so I won't get much gaming time.

Well after seeing temps in the upper 50s - low 60s I was hit with another winter snow storm today, so after doing snow removal from around the home I'll be playing some GH Live, and I'll run around some more in Skyrim.

It's the final weekend before the Switch curtain drops. Last chance to do some last-minute weeding in the backlog.

Probable:
--More progress in, and hopefully finishing, Adrift.
--More progress in Mafia III.

Possible:
--Maybe dipping back into Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin, which I played through last night, to try and grab a couple of the interesting-sounding optional trophies.
--More progress in Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.
--More progress in ReCore.

That's the MMO one right?

Why do you like it? What stands out about the game?

I am always so impressed with the variety of games you play. YOU are a gamer more than anyone I've met on here.

Doing some Hearthstone netdecking. The most disappointing aspect of these card games is that unless you copy one of the successful decks, you're going to get fairly consistently destroyed. So the game becomes a question of simple luck of the draw, not one of strategy or creating unique approaches to decks. Fun game, but almost all blind luck once you build a deck. Still, I play it for whatever reason! The artwork and even the effects/sounds are really top notch.

Waiting for season 10 to start in D3, but that's probably several weeks away. Also played the 'file your taxes' game. That's a fun one when you get money back, lol.

Probably more Heroes of the Storm. And some Last of Us Remastered if I get bored of that.

You change classes on a single character, rather than making alts, combining some of the abilities for each. There is a ton of content to play, as a necessity for such a system.

I have been playing Saints Row IV. The romances are well done, BioWare could learn a lesson.
