KODI and Kodi Boxes

All right, I haven't been paying attention to these at all, until recently, so what, where can I learn up on these things? Sounds like a good way to cut the cable/satellite and still watch TV. Any advice you have would be appreciated.

I have seen that in the "How to" videos. Seems interesting.

Edit 1. I have watched a couple of how to's and then went to see if my old Mac Mini would work, no go it seems. Then I have an old Vista laptop and that might work, but it is at the bottom end of the supported hardware. I may have to buy one of those boxes after all. Don't want to run it on my main laptop. But for $60 you can buy one.

I have Kodi on my phone, tablet, PC (which works great with the steam link), and laptop. Even my wife uses it on her tablet and my PC. Terran is right, Exodus is the best, but there are many other good addons like Phoenix and Velocity.

I can't remember the exact steps to tell you here, but download Kodi (on android it's in the app store), then look up youtube instructions. Looking at my tablet here I can tell you that the add on you want to enter in the settings is http://fusion.tvaddons.ag/

if you have a chromecast or similar tv-mirroring device you can use your phone or tablet and mirror to your TV. If you do that you'll have to delay the audio, which is done by tapping the volume icon while the video is playing.
