Played about 100 hours of this on PC. Unfortunately, most of that time was spent grinding the same levels over and over to acquire new traps (they're random drops) and skulls (used to upgrade traps and unlock characters). There are 4 levels of difficulty, but unlocking them is based on your account level. How much damage your character deals is also tied to your account level, so it's very likely that you'll hit a brick wall at some point because you and your traps are under-leveled (or you just can't get good traps from RNG). There are a decent number of maps (30 or so?), but most are recycled between difficulty levels, meaning you only get a few new ones every time you unlock that new difficulty.

And, if you don't indulge in microtransactions (which are pretty bad value), you'll probably never be satisfied with how you're spending your skulls. Do you want to stick with the same character for how many dozens of hours, but have traps powerful enough to deal with most levels? Or, do you want to invest literally thousands of skulls (you get about 100 per match) into a single character and struggle to complete levels with your underpowered traps?

On top of all that, some levels are unbelievably difficult if you play solo, meaning the only way to beat them is to either power level yourself to death or play with your friends. Overall, the game is fun until the grind sets in, then it becomes yet another tedious RNG-based gear check.
